    El cordobés David Nalbandian, el número uno del tenis argentino, se adjudicó hoy el torneo de exhibición sobre una cancha montada especialmente en el Hotel Conrad de Punta del Este, a Mariano Zabaleta por 7-5 y 6-1 en la final.

    Nalbandian, noveno clasificado en el ranking mundial de la ATP, tuvo que esforzarse para sacar ventaja en un equilibrado primer set, pero después terminó alcanzando la victoria con comodidad.

    El triunfo Nalbandian y el desaire a Peugeot en la Copa Argentina

    David Nalbandian se impuso a Juan Mónaco por 6-4 y 7-5 en la final que se disputó en un colmado Buenos Aires Lawn Tenis Club.

    Nalbandian se llevó, sin mayores problemas, el primer chico del encuentro decisivo al imponerse por 6-4. El segundo set tampoco tuvo grandes emociones entre dos jugadores que en todo momento se mostraron predispuestos a dar un buen espectáculo.

    El argentino Juan Mónaco se había clasificado en la noche del sábado para la final de la Copa Argentina de tenis al superar al español Carlos Moyá por 7-6 y 7-6.
